Universally agreed, the grandest of Gaudi's work would have to be La Sagrada Familia. A building dedicated to Christ. Its so Christian it's like a 3D bible. All facets of the building has something to do with the Christianity and I shall refrain from writing cheeky comments that come to mind, less I insult the Christian Community.

From the metro exit and up the stairs, in front of you was the most amazingly kwellllll........... souvenier shop. *dodge banana skin*
Hey.. Whats a tourist site without a souvenier stall or two. Ok anyway, this stall sells the cheapest fridge magnet and postcard that you will ever find. It is so cheap its almost illegal. Of course being poor back packers, we fell on the stall like we have never seen souvenier shop before, La Sagrada Familia temporary forgotten. Shame on us.....
While we were exploring the delights of the La Sagrada Familia Souvenier shop, cousin Rain was already making rounds, salivating, snapping pictures, admiring from all possible angles. Of course we got the evil eye from her :)
We do all the admiring from outside, not that we can't afford the entrance fee. My senior manager gave me 3 reminders not to go in as renovation is still in progress and everything is covered up. Its no worth it. So we admire from the outside.
Gaudi started building since 1881 and until now remain unfinished. 100 years of work and its still not done. Good news is, the anticipated delivery date is 2020. Hey...that is our country vision too. Once again I refrain from writing snide remarks that comes to mind, cause we have been warned not to speak our mind ...
